Costs and Insurance

Cost for Acupuncture Paid in Full at Time of Service

  • First Visit     $120-130

  • Return visits   $65-$75

Cost for Acupuncture Billed to Insurance

Prices vary depending on complexity of treatment.  I am a preferred provider (= "in-network") for:

  • Aetna

  • First Choice

  • Kaiser: including HMO, Access PPO and Options

  • Lifewise Health Plan of Washington

  • Premera Blue Cross

  • Regence Blue Shield

  • United Healthcare

If you have primary insurance coverage with one of these plans, and if you have verified that your plan covers acupuncture for your condition (i.e. whatever you are coming in to be treated for), then I can bill your insurance.  Many insurance plans consider acupuncture to be medically necessary for various health concerns (usually those that are related to pain conditions), and will cover a percentage of the treatment price. Please note that I do not bill Medicare, L&I or PIP claims. If you are a Medicare Advantage patient please call first before scheduling an initial visit.

Payment Options

Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (including HSA and FSA cards). I can also give you a receipt to submit for HSA or FSA reimbursement.
